Extraction method of composite fault features of gear transmission system based on demodulation of NMD and Teager energy operators

In order to effectively identify and extract the composite fault characteristics of gear transmission system, a diagnosis method combining nonlinear mode decomposition (NMD) Teager energy operator demodulation is proposed. Because envelope Hilbert transform has disadvantages large amount calculation end effect, it uses solve problem calculation, NMD solves that signal features not easy under aliasing. First, used decompose simulation signal, modal component with practical physical significance obtained. Secondly, carried out for components, results are analyzed verify feasibility method. Then, applied pitting wear in characteristic frequency obtained from test data compared calculated frequency. The comparative analysis shows can separate frequencies small gears. EMD EEMD methods experimental research this superior.
